Your child has the opportunity to Build-A-Rainbow by learning all of our Kindergarten Sight Words (also called "Star Words").  Your child can earn a rainbow piece by reading the star words (each reading unit has a set of star words, each unit is a color of the rainbow).  Once your child's rainbow is complete, we celebrate, take a picture by our rainbow wearing our headband, AND are given a First Grade Packet to work on at home!  Remind your child to let Mrs. Barclift know they are ready to pass-off a set of Star Words once they are able to!

Your child has the opportunity to earn THREE OWLS.  To earn an owl, your child must (1) count to 100 by 10's (we sing a song in class), (2) count to 100 by 1's (we have a song & a slap/clap pattern to learn this skill, and (3) correctly name numbers 0-20 out of sequence.  Remind your child to let Mrs. Barclift know they are ready to pass-off once they are able to do any of the three skills above!

BELOW ARE SOME VIDEOS WE ENJOY DURING THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER!!!  HAVE FUN!
